Our mission is to ensure memories are delivered one piece of furniture at a time, on time, every time. We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team and play a key role in driving our sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• Identify new business opportunities and forge strong relationships with potential clients, including furniture manufacturers, retailers, and distributors
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
• Lead the sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction
• Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sales processes and strategies
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and expand our network
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the furniture or logistics industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop innovative sales strategies
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
